Shoe Box Appeal
Boxline was contacted by Kevin Starling from Alderman Blaxill Parent & Community Forum. Kevin was organising a shoe box appeal in aid of the servicemen and women in Afghanistan, he asked if we'd be able to help.
The troops could use some essential (little luxury) items to brighten their lives a little whilst they serve their country. These items include bathroom products and powdered drinks etc. Boxline were able to contribute 100 shoe boxes and all were filled by Essex school pupils (some of which have families in the military), in light of the success of this project a further 500 shoe boxes are being sent.
The boxes were presented at a fun day and the soldiers were delighted with their shoe boxes full of donations.
